Easy Peasy

Transitional clothing into spring (FINALLY!) can make things tricky.  An easy way to solve that tragic dilemma (ok not really but some mornings it can feel that way) is by throwing on a great romper. Now finding the romper that flatters you best is a whole other blog post, but take it into consideration next time you’re out shopping and try a few different styles on. There’s nothing better than getting dressed in one shot and not having to worry about so many layers, pieces, and textures to make you feel like you’re sporting a great look, especially on those days when you feel like time has it out for you.

This piece I found on the sale rack at Anthropologie a few weeks ago. While I’m not sure it’s still in stores this one from Anthropologie and this one from Forever 21 are other great options you might like!

My earrings are The Melanie from Stella & Dot and the length can be altered by simply clipping off pieces. You can even turn them into simple studs. Getting 3 pairs of earrings in one is always a sure way to win me over. Grab yourself a pair by clicking here. My ring is also from Stella & Dot and is the Zinnia. This is a piece I know I will wear lots in the next warm spring and summer months! Click here and get one!

I found this Botkier Logan bag at a great little boutique in Edgewater, NJ called Mercat. It was on major sale and it can hold waaaay more than it seems.

city stroll

There’s no place like “Sohome”. Walking around Soho is comparable to my favorite field trip as a kid- The Bronx Zoo. There’s lots to explore, it’s an exciting sensory overload, and celebrity sighting is comparable to spotting animals camouflaged in their elements at the zoo.

Yes, I’m wearing plaid again…but this is buffalo check plaid and has amazing zipper detail, so it justifies having yet one more piece in my wardrobe. This one happens to be from Zara and is unfortunately sold out, but here’s a great blouse that would be easy to add into your closet. Pair it with faux leather leggings, or a pencil skirt, or your favorite jeans and a blazer and you’re good to go!

My vest I purchased at a favorite local boutique, Platform, here in Hoboken. It’s by Love Token. It glams up any look and is really soft and comfortable. Here’s a similar style you might like.

My necklace and bracelet are both pieces from one of my favorite jewelry boutiques in Hoboken, AaRaa! You may have seen past posts where I have featured boutique owner Neeta’s fabulous pieces. SCF has teamed up with AaRaa and is giving away both pieces to one lucky winner! You just need to “like” this post on SCF’s and AaRaa’s Facebook page and one lucky person will be picked at random to win this gorgeous necklace and bracelet! The winner will be announced on SCF’s Facebook page on Saturday! If you’re in the area and love these pieces- be sure to stop by AaRaa located at 408 6th Street in Hoboken. This bracelets reminds me of the very popular styles by Vita Fede seen here, but AaRaa has them for sale in many different styles for the fraction of the price, $15.00!!!!

My shoes were a Via Spiga sale find at Nordstrom. Here are a pair you might also like.

city chic

My jeans are my favorite distressed AG’s which I put over a pair of plain tights for style and for warmth! When it comes to mixing prints and patterns, I say go for it! Who says you can’t wear buffalo check and leopard prints together?! Thanks for reading!
