Comfortable in color

I try to bring a little color to my very neutral winter wardrobe.  While we snapped these pics way before the temperature dropped to bone chilling, teeth chattering, body jarring cold, I dressed up this look with a neutral pair of heels. Currently I would be wearing boots and warm socks with this outfit. Keep scrolling and reading to find out where the pieces I’m wearing are from. Thanks for stopping by!

DRESS-Dor L’ Dor boutique;  VEST- Madewell;  RINGS- Madewell;  BRACELETS- (old) Stella and Dot and Madewell;  SHOES- DV by Dolce Vita Poppi; SUNGLASSES- Michael Kors

Simple, affordable, and colorful= perfect summer dress! I found this dress last year at a boutique here in Hoboken called Dor L’ Dor. I instantly fell in love with the tribal pattern and colors. It’s in constant weekly rotation in my closet on those “I don’t want to put on clothes because it’s so stinkin’ hot” days.

I paired it up with a super versatile vest I’ve had my eyes on at Madewell. I’m sure there will be tons of future posts where you see this because it works so well with everything! (Think oversized silk blouse, black pleather leggings, this vest, and booties for the fall!)

My shoes are really comfortable (believe it or not!) and the nude and brown tones work well with lots of pieces in my summer wardrobe. What’s your go to summer attire? xo, Elana
