Easy Peasy

Transitional clothing into spring (FINALLY!) can make things tricky.  An easy way to solve that tragic dilemma (ok not really but some mornings it can feel that way) is by throwing on a great romper. Now finding the romper that flatters you best is a whole other blog post, but take it into consideration next time you’re out shopping and try a few different styles on. There’s nothing better than getting dressed in one shot and not having to worry about so many layers, pieces, and textures to make you feel like you’re sporting a great look, especially on those days when you feel like time has it out for you.

This piece I found on the sale rack at Anthropologie a few weeks ago. While I’m not sure it’s still in stores this one from Anthropologie and this one from Forever 21 are other great options you might like!

My earrings are The Melanie from Stella & Dot and the length can be altered by simply clipping off pieces. You can even turn them into simple studs. Getting 3 pairs of earrings in one is always a sure way to win me over. Grab yourself a pair by clicking here. My ring is also from Stella & Dot and is the Zinnia. This is a piece I know I will wear lots in the next warm spring and summer months! Click here and get one!

I found this Botkier Logan bag at a great little boutique in Edgewater, NJ called Mercat. It was on major sale and it can hold waaaay more than it seems.

James and I went out on the town to celebrate his birthday and I put this outfit together for the occasion. My pants are from Aritzia (shop them here), and super comfortable. I love the scrunched cuff and I’m looking forward to wearing these into the fall with booties, a tee and blazer.

My shirt is from Piperlime by Cooper and Ella and truth be told I bought it for three reasons- 1) it’s named the “Alana” and I’m a sucker for anything close to the spelling of my name because growing up I never had the mugs, key chains, or charms the other kids had since my name wasn’t as popular , 2) I love the colors, and 3) I’m loving the subtle cut out back. Check it out here!

My shoes are my FAVORITE heels I own. I saw them on Pinterest about a year ago and hunted them down like a stalker. They are by Schutz and unfortunately no longer available. (I’m so sorry!) But here’s a pair you might like!

My necklace was a sale find at Anthropologie, and while I can’t find it online, here’s a similar style.  My bag is an oldie from a Botkier sample sale about 6 years ago, but check out this one that I’ve had my eye on.  Thanks for reading and happy shopping. xo, Elana
