everything’s gonna be “p”ine

Happy first day of SPRING!!! While I’m not yet prepared to pack up my winter coat since we’re supposed to get more snow today, I thought it was fitting to share my new favorite tee from Target that I plan to eventually rock with white jeans and sandals when the sky decides to stop snowing. Want it? Grab it here!

balancing act

Now for these jeans- one of my FAVORITE denim brands is Blank NYC. These are super comfortable, easy to “dress up” with a great pair of heels (I have my eyes on these), or dress down with flats and a plain tee. The best part about them is that I WON THEM!!! I haven’t won anything recently besides an intense game of UNO with my kiddos- so when BLANK NYC contacted me to let me know that I had won a $500.00 shopping spree with their New Year- New You Facebook contest, I was giddy. I filled up my shopping cart with 3 pairs of jeans and two tops before finally pushing the “place order” button, (yes, that’s a lot of stuff for 500.00!!) and I can’t decide which piece is my favorite. Stay tuned for more posts with my winning pieces. I bet you will want to add them to your closet too! In the meantime, grab yourself a pair of these “torn to shreds” boyfriend jeans here.

it's all pine

My necklace is the silver Rebel Pendant from Stella and Dot. It’s my go to necklace, and adds a bit of edge and polish to any look. It comes in three different metal tones too! Click here to get yours!

point of focus

My beanie (it comes in different colors, click here!) and sunglasses are from Target. I love being able to add in affordable accessories that always seem to make a look complete.

My booties are the “Harrow” from Rag and Bone and I plan to wear them until I’m 72- I love them that much. My blazer is an oldie from BCBG and it’s one of those pieces that has been worn to so many “good moments” in my life that I sometimes feel like it’s my good luck charm. Do you have one of those in your closet? Here’s to an amazing spring, whenever it decides to show up, and as always thanks for stopping by! xo, Elana

lounge chair

This (The Liberty House and Liberty State Park) is one of my favorite places for many reasons- It was the location for our first picnic when we moved from NYC to Hoboken, the location for one of James’ birthday celebrations where I transported cupcakes, sandwiches and a tent haphazardly in an attempt to surprise James with a small group of friends that all managed to get lost in the different locations of the park (it’s the thought that counts, right?), the first place I ventured on my own via the light rail on a hot summer day with my 1 1/2 year old son and my 2 1/2 year old daughter (OMG that trip took every ounce of courage I had), and the place where some of my most special friends went above and beyond to surprise me for my birthday. Such good memories.

pant detail

Places really hold such big meaning to me and most of the time bring a sense of comfort.  This outfit is definitely one of those “comfortable” outfits that made me feel relaxed enough to kick up my feet for a bit and take in the crazy NYC views.

sensational studs

There’s nothing like a comfortable shoe that you can wear all day and also has a little bit of, shall we say kick, to it. These booties are from BCBG and add a little bit of edge to any outfit because of their stud detail. These are unfortunately from last year and I searched online high and low but I came up short. Maybe, just maybe, you’ll like these: Click here!backwards

My bag (by Pendleton), and fedora are both amazing sale finds from TJ Maxx. My sweater is one of my favorite purchases this winter and is from Air Studios here in Hoboken. Click here to grab one yourself, it also is available in black! (click here!)bling shot

This necklace (the cassady collar) is on current rotation in my jewelry box and is from Stella and Dot. It goes with everything and if you’re looking for a statement piece that’s not too overwhelming this is your piece. Grab it now, click here and why not add these earrings (click here) for a finished look?! Thanks for stopping by! xo
