Apple attire

It’s my favorite time of year, (insert what you hear almost every person on the East Coast say about fall) and what better activity to do than hop in the car with the family and explore the Tri-state area and it’s apple and pumpkin picking venues. I will have to remember to set a specific budget for apples next year because I swear we have picked over $100.00 in apples this season!

I found this J Crew vest while James and I were in the North Fork in September and had to have it (they were having their friends and family promotion = justified). My necklace is J Crew Factory (on sale now!) and my bracelets are Stella and Dot and Madewell.

My jeans are from Zara and were an end of season purchase on sale back in July. My shirt is from Banana Republic and I’m guessing almost 4 years old, but here’s one similar.

to boot!

I found these shoes at another of my favorite Hoboken boutiques – Peper and Parlor, years ago, but here’s a pair that would also work.

This whole outfit is easy to replicate and I bet you have similar pieces in your closet. Start with a button down shirt and any vest whether it is nylon or sweater material…even leather or denim could work! Layer it on and pair with your favorite jeans and your go to booties. Top with a chunky necklace or scarf and stack on some bracelets and you’re good to go.

I hope this post has given you the urge for vests and apple pie!

Happy Fall and thanks for reading. xo
